Mattress with or without cover:

1. Wash the cover regularly

Your mattress cover plays an essential role in keeping it clean and fresh. Make sure to wash the cover at least once every two months, or more frequently if necessary. Use lukewarm water and a mild detergent to remove stains and odors. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's washing instructions to avoid any damage to the cover.

2. Use a mattress protector

Even if your mattress does not have a removable cover, you can still protect its surface by using a mattress protector. Choose a waterproof mattress protector to prevent liquid spills, stains, and dirt. Make sure the mattress protector fits your mattress well for maximum protection.

3. Vacuum regularly

Even without a removable cover, you can maintain the cleanliness of your mattress by vacuuming it regularly. Use a vacuum cleaner equipped with an upholstery attachment to remove dust particles, allergens, and dust mites from the mattress surface. Do this at least once a month for optimal results.

4. Clean stains immediately

If you accidentally spill something on your mattress, act quickly to prevent the stain from setting in. Use a clean, damp cloth to blot the stain gently. Avoid rubbing, as this could make the stain penetrate deeper. If necessary, use a stain remover suitable for the type of stain to be treated.

5. Air out regularly

To prevent the accumulation of odors and moisture, air out your mattress regularly. Remove the sheets and leave the mattress uncovered for a few hours. This will help reduce humidity and eliminate undesirable odors.

6. Rotate the mattress

If your mattress is reversible, rotate it every few months to distribute wear evenly. This will help maintain its shape and firmness.

7. Protect it from pets

If you have pets, make sure they don't scratch or chew on the mattress. Use a blanket or a special mattress cover if necessary.
